The Personalization Preparation Process (P3) product range consists of a combination of software and hardware that allows card issuers to define, generate and manage the cryptographic data that will eventually be loaded onto EMV-compliant smart cards.

Three systems are available to cater for different volume requirements:

• The P3 Desktop – A cost-effective system for low volume or instant issuance of cards
• The P3 Advance – A system for medium volume issuance (tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of cards a year)
• The P3 Server – A system for large volume issuance
